We are warriors. All of you who are writing these things are warriors. Whether you want to admit it or not, your job was to learn how to kill other human beings as efficiently and effectively as possible. Your boss was the President of the U.S. As a military member, you have no opinion. You do what you are told until you decide to get out. Let's get that straight first.
Secondly, I agree that ANYONE who committed crimes should be punished. However, put things into context. The "horrors" that keep coming out include staging an execution and telling terrorists that we are going to molest their wife! Give me a break. You Bush/Cheney haters call that a war crime. We're fighting people who wouldn't stage an execution but video it on U-tube and wouldn't tell you they'll rape your wife, but would do it.
I can't believe how you guys continually throw our military comrades under the bus. Whether we should be in any war or not is not the question. Our position should always be to make sure that our brothers in arms have the best chance at killing as many of the enemy as possible without getting injured themselves. That's what we should be supporting. Prosecuting these folks will only make it more dangerous for our brothers.
So get our troops the hell out of there and resign to the fact that we will be a panzy to terrorists, and then you can prosecute whoever the hell you want to. But as long as we have a military and young men and women who are willing to fight for what the elected officials of this country tell them to, we have an obligation to support only that which makes our brothers and sisters safer.
You guys are pitiful. The blood of my brother takes precedent over everything. I bet you had a hard time not getting shot in the back during combat. I will forever be loyal to those folks who pay the price.
Stay the hell out of my life. I am old enough to make my own mistakes.
